THE WEDDING PARTY
Bridesmaids
Lauren Maxwell
Maid of Honor
Road trip partners, European travelers and soulmates since the swim team incident of 2006. Lauren has the ability to win over anyone with her spontaneous and carefree attitude. The moment they locked eyes they knew their fate was sealed.
Elizabeth Burchenal
Major bonus to this marriage is that Kirsten gets the best sister out there. Elizabeth is the most beautiful person inside and out. Kirsten is dedicated to getting her to move back from LA, or to add on an extra bedroom for her. Sisters do that for each other right?
Reed Seward
Best Man
Reed spent elementary school hanging out with girls during recess. Jack was baffled by how he avoided cooties. In middle school Jack realized it was because everyone (cooties or not) loves him. Since 6th grade Reed has been one of Jack’s closest confidants. Jack is grateful to have a best friend like Reed, even though Kirsten refers to him as Jacks other significant other.
Jared Allen
Jack hit the jackpot having Jared as a brother in law. Jared always wanted an older brother and Jack needs a lucky number three. Listen up ladies; Jared is a pilot who lives in California. What else could you want, my god. Because of his game-changing personality not having him in Ohio is a huge bummer. Getting to call him family is a win.
Beth Rich
An OU classroom brought them together. Love and the Casa seven layer dip kept them together. Running buddies, teaching buddies and the girl who knew about the BBQ basically initiating this whole thing. Beth has a beautiful and kind soul that is obvious to anyone who knows her.
Erin Weston
OU dorm room brought them together a road trip to work at Disney World sealed their fate. Erin has the ability to make any situation more bright and positive. Kirsten knew instantly she would follow Erin to Florida, New Mexico, Colorado or anywhere really.
Groomsmen
Henry Burchenal
Best Man
Jack feels like the luckiest guy in the world to have Henry as a brother. Nothing is impossible if the two are together. Henry never let Jack forget that he is the better running back in football. Jack’s job was to block Henry in football, but he thought of it as an honor and a privilege to protect someone like Henry.
Ben Archambault
Ben is one of Jack’s closest friends from college. Spending the summer in Charleston, South Carolina generated a lifetime of stories. Having the ability to befriend anyone is Ben’s talent. You can see why when you meet him. His take charge attitude is one reason you should have Ben as a friend, or you will miss out. If Jack catches himself reminiscing about college, you can bet it is because of Ben.
Caroline Costin
Bff's since fate brought them together in Kirk's English classroom. Always down to hang out by a fire or hop in the car and drive to NYC. Caroline is truly one of a kind. Theres noone you rather sit next to on the porch with a glass of wine and a book.
Sarah Detrick
Once a wildcat always a wildcat (and soul mates) since 2012. Currently being paid for her unofficial wedding planner title in wine and cheese plates. Sarah's loving and kind soul is evident to everyone who knows her. Her dedication to spreading more happiness in the world can be seen in everything she does. 7 years teaching would have felt like 700 without her.
Sam Burchenal
No one is a more skilled comedian, yet more kindhearted than Sam. Always aiming to keep spirits high, Sam has been the glue and the gem of the Burchenal family. Everyone who meets Sam agrees, they couldn’t be more grateful to have him around.
Rodger Davis
The common sense man in the group, Rodger has always been the voice of reason for Jack. Realizing this, Jack had to threaten Rodger with honking the horn in the driveway unless Rodger snuck out with him. Always down to clown, but never down to go to jail, Rodger is the man you want by your side. Rodger’s memory is like a hard-drive and he can recall countless hilarious stories. This is only one of the reasons you want Rodger by your side.
Robert Shively
You are seeing the only picture that exists with one of Jack’s oldest friends. In 4th grade Robert was the first person to make Jack feel welcome at CCD. For years after they rotated sleeping over at each other’s houses. Jack and Robert were committed to the job of getting people together for fun. So if 10,000 hours makes you a professional of your craft, what does 200,000 hours make you?
Graham Vollmer
Until high school, Jack had never met anyone like Graham. Suffocating from laughter around Graham was the norm. Jack gets to call the most well-loved guy his closet friend. All of Jack’s favorite moments involved Graham and the whole Burchenal family agrees. Charismatic and charming, Graham just might tell you a story that will cause you to never breathe normally again.
