COLUMBUS FAVORITES FOR OUR FAVORITE PEOPLE
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is a non-profit zoo located about 30 minutes north of downtown. In 2009 The Columbus Zoo was named the number one zoo in the United States. The zoo operates its own conservative program and has donated over 3.3 million to conservation efforts over the past five years. Home to more than 7,000 animals the zoo is organized by regions of the world. Jack likes the bald eagles in North America, Kirsten is partial to the penguins.

Cosi is a dynamic hands-on science and research center. Cosi is located downtown on the scioto river. Cosi has exhibit areas that teach you about the ocean, energy, space exploration, gadgets and dinosaurs. Cosi is the perfect destination for you inner nerd and the hands-on activities are great for kids and adults
Easton Town Center
Easton is an indoor-outdoor shopping mecca about 20 minutes north of downtown. Easton has a mix of high end fashion, home goods, restaurants, a winery, a comedy club and a movie theater. Kirsten's favorites are DSW, Nordstrom, Elm and Iron and Coopers Hawk Winery. Jack likes The Funny Bone Comedy Club and PF Chang's China Bistro.
Scioto Mile
The Scioto Mile is located downtown Columbus along the riverfront. You can find some great restaurants, go kayaking on the river, rock climb on a free outdoor climbing wall or just walk around the park and enjoy the views. Milestone 229 is a great restaurant with amazing views of the city.
German Village
German Village is a historic neighborhood just south of downtown. There are lots of places to shop, eat and stroll around. Some of our favorites are Lindey's and Barcelona, to enjoy the best patios and cocktails, Fox in the Snow for the best coffee and pastries, Pistacia Vera for the best dessert, Harvest for delicious brick oven pizza and a 32- room bookstore called The Book Loft for all you nerds out there.
